WAR, VIOLENCE
AND PERSECUTION

From 1955 to 1975, war in Vietnam claimed the lives of almost 4 million people. Thousands of innocent civilians, including children, suffered horrific burns from the use of napalm, leaving them with life-long scars and injuries.

Research shows that 50% of Vietnamese people suffer from PTSD or transgenerational trauma as a result of the country's violent past.

Levels of trauma are higher in more isolated people groups such as the Hmong and Hre who are also often targeted through faith based and ethnic persecution.

Our Planted for Purpose Trauma Healing and Reconciliation Course is now being used to bring hope and restoration to the people of Vietnam.
