ART THERAPY WORKSHOPS
Planted not Buried
A workshop on perspective and personal transformation
How do you see your personal struggles, trauma and hardship?
Do they make you feel buried, damaged, ugly or broken?
This workshop encourages participants to begin to see these difficult experiences from God’s perspective. When we allow ourselves to grow through God’s love, deep and lasting transformation is possible.
Broken Things Can Be Beautiful
A workshop on resilience
Have you experienced extended suffering, hardship, trauma or loss? Do you sometimes struggle to believe God can bring healing to your situation and restore your joy?
This workshop will encourage you to re-imagine your story by creating a collage artwork of beauty, hope and resilience. Perhaps you have experienced great pain and yet found strength in God’s unfailing love and provision - your collage can be a visual testimony and reminder of God’s hand on your life.
The Garden of the Heart
A workshop on forgiveness
and personal growth
Imagine your heart is like a garden. How healthy is the soil? Is your heart producing good fruit or have you planted seeds in your heart that are growing into weeds and thorns?
This workshops encourages participants to honestly assess the health of their heart and the ‘fruit’ it is producing in their lives. Together we will each make 2 origami hearts. The first will represent an unhealthy heart and the second will represent a healthy, clean heart, nourished by God’s love and forgiveness.
