PROJECT114
OUR VALUES
Our mission is to embody the love and teachings of Jesus Christ by fostering a culture of empathy, excellence, empowerment, and enjoyment. We are committed to understanding and serving the needs of others with compassion, delivering the highest standards in all we say and do, empowering individuals to reach their full potential, and creating a joyful environment where we can have fun together as we strive to bring healing and hope to those most in need.
Our Vision is to see more and more people each year gaining the skills to cope with trauma and persecution, so that they can bring resiliency, reconciliation, and forgiveness to their local communities, leading to the transformation of nations.
Our Purpose is to deliver trauma recovery and art therapy workshops to those in need as defined by items 31 and 32 of the Commissioner’s Interpretation Statement on Public Benevolent Institutions as at 29 September 2025.
114’s Organizational Values are defined by (4 E’s)
Empathy
We bring relief of poverty, disability or impairment or distress (sickness, disability, destitution, suffering or helplessness) to those experiencing traumatic life events such as religious persecution, war, famine, or natural disasters.
Excellence
We operate as a Public Benevolent Institution (PBI), striving to do everything with excellence in a compliance landscape and people-oriented mission. We serve with excellence to all in need, not confining ourselves to serving one faith or nation.
Empowerment
We follow this calling based on Christian values and commitments to love our neighbours as we love ourselves. We aim to help all people to fulfil their potential through hope, healing and reconciliation.
Enjoyment
We believe life was created to enjoy the bountiful blessings this world provides, that we can enjoy together. Life will have everyday challenges, but we can help those experiencing the worst of it.
Project114 is a not-for-profit charity based on Christian values and calling, to show mercy and love to those most in need in our communities and abroad. While the charity has its origins in Christianity, it is not organised nor does it operate to further Christianity, as per its registration with the Australian Charities and Not-For-Profit Commission. Any outcomes or engagement in faith-based activities are incidental to our mission of helping those most in need without discrimination. This is per the Commissioner’s Interpretation Statement on Public Benevolent Institutions items 119.b. and 120.
